I have known Debi for over twenty years as a friend and neighbor. So, last fall when my wife and I decided to sell our custom home in El Dorado Hills that we designed and had built, it was easy for us to select Debi as our listing agent. We are both now retired and no longer need as large a home. We found a home out of state that met our criteria and that was priced at a point that was too good to ignore. So we bought it.

Having two houses in different states was never our objective and we were concerned about properly maintaining both homes. Although because the opportunity to purchase the additional home arose quickly and we still needed to finish a few pre-listing projects, we had a dilemma. This is somewhat of an unusual source for a letter commending an agent in the context that my initial encounter and high regard for Debi Ambroff originates from the vantage point of being what is customarily regarded as the adversary in the negotiations of selling my home on Crystal Blvd. Debi represented the buyers; I, the seller, was represented by an agency that was certainly more than adequate and I'm not displeased with their performance in any fashion. Having said that, I feel compelled to also state that I soon came to admire the professionalism and expertise of Debi, which is far in excess of what I know to be within the scope of performance of an agent who is handling the other side of the transaction. I was impressed to the extent that I was determined to have Debi represent me in any subsequent transactions at the moment I was free of prior obligations.

We recently relocated from Chicago, IL to El Dorado Hills, CA. This move was very emotional for us because we were leaving our families in Illinois.
